Can I watch HD channels with the old kinescope TV?
Yes. Domestic DVB-S2 receiver has video and audio outputs for connection to older TVs. Of course, the picture quality will be worse than in case of using the HDMI input in modern TV panels.
Can I install the equipment?

What is the difference between DVB-S2 standard and DVB-C standard?
We can answer only briefly.
DVB-S2 is Digital Video Broadcasting-Satellite, 2nd Generation. From the title it is clear that the standard applied in the satellite digital broadcasting. The most common types of modulation are QPSK and 8PSK. The input of DVB-S2 receiver receives a signal in the 950MHz … 2150MHz range. LEADER MULTIMEDIA uses this standard to their terrestrial broadcasting.
DVB-C is Digital Video Broadcasting – Cable. From this title it is clear that this standard applies to cable digital TV. The most common types of modulation are QAM64, QAM128. The input of DVB-C receiver receives a signal in 110MHz…862MHz range. LEADER MULTIMEDIA uses this standard to their broadcasting in cable networks and corporate networks.
It should be noted that the transformation (transmodulation) of the DVB-S2 standard in DVB-C standard does not change the video picture quality in the subscriber TV. This is one of the advantages of digital television picture transmission methods.

How many carriers and how many channels can handle TV4U-4S/C tramsmodulator?
Transmodulator allows to receive all four DVB-S2 carrier which broadcasted by LEADER MULTIMEDIA and transmodulator converts signal to four cable carriers. The number of transmodulator output channels equal to the number of broadcast channels.
Can transmodulator decode all LEADER MULTIMEDIA channels simultaneously?
Yes, there is such function in transmodulator due professional descrambler.
How many TV sets can be connected to TV4U-4S/C transmodulator output?
Output level of transmodulator is 112dB/uV. In most cases, when using a standard cable taps (TAP) this signal is enough to connect at least 30 TVs. In the case of cable TV amplifiers, the number of connected TVs can be increased to 1,000.

What equipment do you need to have for the cable channels viewing?
Enough to have a flat screen TV with integrated DVB-C receiver. The presence of the DVB-C input indicated in the technical documentation for the TV. Also, you can enter to the CHANNEL SEARCH MENU of your TV. If the MENU offers ANALOG/DIGITAL settings option, DVB-C receiver is installed to your TV set. If no DIGITAL term in the MENU the digital receiver does not into the TV. Generally, all the TV panel which made in the last 7 years have built-in digital cable receiver.

How many TVs can be connected in one apartment?
Due to the fact that the channels in the cable network enters in unencrypted form the number of TV sets in the apartment is limited only by the loss of the signal level at the splitters.
